Blending quality breeding and high fashion

Hello .... Shalimar Alpacas was named after one of the wonders of the world, a garden called Shalimar in Srinagar, India. This beautiful, peaceful garden was created for Muntaz Mahal, wife of Sha Jahan, the prince who later designed the Taj Mahal.

When professional perfume creator, Olivier Gillotin, created an alpaca farm for his wife, Patricia, the beauty and wonder of the alpacas residing there made the name Shalimar Alpacas seem perfect. Life on the farm truly is a wonder of beauty and peace.

About the Farm

Shalimar Alpacas is situated 40 miles west of The George Washington Bridge in Warwick, New York, about an hour from New York City.
